One of the items on our to-do list today was to TRY and fix the couch. We really didn’t know how to fix it because we really didn’t know what was wrong with the couch. But . . . what we did know was that we were slowly beginning to sink closer and closer to the floor. Yep . . . not good.
Anyway, we turned the couch over, took off the black cloth covering the bottom, and learned that (well, to put it nicely) the interior part of our couch was a shotty piece of workmanship – cheap bowing wood, staples coming loose, etc. We did our best to fix the problem by using some wood screws to better support the couch – Dan doing most of the work – I was the assistant. It seemed to have helped tremendously though. We are no longer sinking to the floor! Woohoo!
