Before we head out of the country for several months, we wanted to make sure that we visited both sets of parents. We started with visiting my parents in Valdosta this week. We were also able to stay a night with some of Katie’s relatives (Bill and Dicey) in the Atlanta area. They were very hospitable. On the way down, we had hoped to stop and get a tour of the BMW factory in Spartanburg, SC. But as luck would have it, the line was shut down this week. It was still interesting to view their displays.

While in Valdosta, we went with my parents to a very interesting animal display that they had heard about. There were all sorts of animals including giraffes, antelopes, and deer.
