While in PA Allison went on a few Christmas outings. The girls went to Kraynak’s to see the Christmas displays. While at Nana and Papa’s house Allison worked on her golf swing with Papa, practiced the sit-and-spin, hugged Lilly (A LOT and LOVED IT), played on the iPad with Papa (a favorite thing to do with him), watched the adults rock it out with Rock Band, found a new love — playing in the bubbles!, [...]
We went to visit my parents for Christmas. While we were there it snowed (a little). Allison had fun playing in it, but Papa was a little disappointed we didn’t get enough to use the sled.
Allison found her inner artist. She LOVES to color! Some other favorites in December were getting buried by laundry, playing with her dollhouse, touching the ornaments with one finger (this rule worked out really well!), and putting on and taking off the hat and mittens Nana sent.
Something non-Allison related is that we had solar panels put on our roof in December. It was fascinating to watch the process. The solar panels will offset half of our energy usage too!
We went and visited Dan’s parents in Georgia in early December and celebrated Christmas while we were there. Allison had fun playing with Grandma, Granddad, and uncle Ward. She loved playing with her new toys too — some of her favorites were a Mrs. Potato Head and a music kit. The girl loves playing along [...]
Allison went to the dentist for the first time in October. She’s had teeth since she was 3 months old so we thought it would be a good idea. She did okay, but was certainly not thrilled. She sat in the big chair, but wouldn’t open her mouth so they didn’t even try to clean [...]
This year we decided to host Thanksgiving at our house which was a lot of fun. We even tried to get some of our Christmas decorations up since we were having company. Allison enjoyed “helping” us.
Allison and I went to the park one day and I got some sweet pictures of her and her baby (her FAVORITE toy!). I wanted to have some good 15 month pictures of her.
Here are some random pics from November. Allison was getting really good at stacking (anything from blocks to playdoughs — although stacking playdough is a lot easier than stacking blocks since they have a rim!). She also loved putting Mr. Potato Head parts on her — particularly earrings and hats.
