Our New England trip concluded with a visit to Maine. We got some tips/suggestions from our friends Abbie and Ben which we greatly appreciated. While my parents and grandparents were in town we got together with my mom’s cousin and his family (who live just 15 minutes away!!). It was a lot of fun to get to know their family. We’ll have to get together again soon.
We were blessed to have my parents and my grandparents come for a visit this month. I’m pretty sure Allison thought it was her job to keep everyone entertained. We really enjoyed having them all stay here — and we enjoyed getting away for a few days while they watched Allison!
We went bowling with our friends Allen and Gina and Allison came along with us. She did really well at first, but then … well, let’s just say it was more difficult to keep her entertained.
This month we went to the zoo again to enjoy our zoo membership! It’s been fun to see how much more observant Allison is each time we go. This time she really enjoyed watching the otters and sea lions (and she also enjoyed showing us the leaves that were on the ground).
We put down some hay to help our grass seed grow and thought it would be a great opportunity to take some fun fall pictures.
We went to “Museum Day” (2 free tickets) at Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh. We weren’t sure if Allison would be that into it or not, but she loved it! We’ll definitely be going back again.
