Grandma and Granddad came for a visit in September. Some of the highlights: Allison loved to hold Granddad’s finger and walk him around the house. She also had a blast going to the park and playing with them!

Allison had a blast “painting” with cornsyrup and food coloring. She also loved coloring a big box with markers. Then we cut some holes in the box and found out what fit inside the holes. You’ve got to love cheap fun!
Dan and I were outside on the porch doing a little bit of fix-up work and Allison decided to entertain us. We thought it was hilarious!
In September, we were able to capture some more of Allison’s favorite things to do. She loves to put shoes on the mat, “help” mommy sweep, remove (and sometimes replace) the circles in the Spanish classroom, play on playgrounds, wear Mr. Potato Head toys, wear bracelets (and favorite for several months now), and play with [...]

Grandma and Granddad stayed for a few days after Allison’s birthday in July. She had lots of fun showing off all of her toys.
The weekend of Allison’s birthday we had LOTS of family in town — Nana, Papa J., Uncle Ryan, Grandma, and Granddad. It was fun and Allison loved being the life of the party.
My mom and dad (aka Nana and Papa) came the week prior to Allison’s birthday. We had fun playing in the water, going for walks, playing cards, going to the zoo, and just hanging out.
