Katie’s parents (Jim and Kathy) came for a short visit during the first weekend in May.  One of our outings was to Buckwheat Farms — our favorite local strawberry field.   We picked about 10 pounds of strawberries and ate them in just a few days with strawberry ice cream, strawberry syrup for our pancakes, and just eating them straight!  They are so sweet fresh from the farm!

Katie’s parents came to visit for the weekend, and we thought it would be fun to surprise them by scheduling a 3D ultrasound for today (since we are in the optimal time frame to have this done).   The pictures turned out really neat.   Amazing to think that this is our little girl.

Based on our blog, it looks like our lives consist of nothing but counting the weeks until the baby arrives.  Well, that is partially true.  In our other time, we have almost finished the nursery and have been working on several house projects.  My parents came up about 2 weeks ago, and Katie’s parents are coming for a quick visit this weekend.  Everyone wants to see pregnant Katie!!

We have officially passed the 24 week mark.  The baby closet continues to fill with clothes thanks to generous friends and local consignment sales.   :-)

We are now at 21 weeks, and Katie is showing more and more every day.  Here is our latest photo next to the previous ones for comparison.

A little over a week ago, we went in for another ultrasound.  Everything looks great.  Here are some pictures.  I love the one of the foot!

Katie’s parents came for a quick visit this weekend and we made the most of our time together.  Katie’s dad (Jim) and I hung shelves in the baby room and put together the new crib.  Katie and her mom (Kathy) shopped for decorations and we all made at least one run to the Morrisville “Kids Everywear” consignment sale.

The baby room has come a long way this week, but is definitely still a work in progress.  I’m sure it will come together over the next month or so.

This weekend we took a few days to go visit with my parents, grandmother, and extended family.  They even threw us a little baby shower and my grandmother gave us a baby quilt she made over 20 years ago for this occasion.

Here are some of our snow pictures from the Jan 31 snow storm.  We got a total of about 4-5 inches in Morrisville.
